We expanded on last year's concept for the annual TechRun, which kicked off Lisbon Web Summit, by enriching the 5K and 10K routes with points of interest and contextual details. In addition, we created a dynamic flow map of the Beato Creative Hub to help visitors navigate the experience before, during, and after the race.

This suite of map-driven videos showcases the versatility and storytelling potential of animated cartography. Through careful route highlighting, selective color use, and upbeat pacing, we delivered a clear, energising message tailored to runners in a compact urban environment.

We produced a comprehensive video package to guide participants through every stage of the experience, including:

• Route previews for both the 5K and 10K races, each also adapted into an Instagram-native format optimised for vertical viewing and social sharing

• Runner demographics and community highlights

• Step-by-step guidance on how to get there, where to start, and what to expect along the way
