Every map is a set of decisions: what to centre, what to minimise, what to reveal and what to erase. This one makes those decisions differently.

Created in collaboration with Oxfam, this map is part of Stories4Change, a three-year project supporting artists across five countries to develop their storytelling craft and amplify voices from the Global South.

The map is flipped, placing the Global South at the top, and uses a Hobo-Dyer projection to challenge how we perceive scale and relationships. But it goes further than that.

Instead of data points, it's composed of artworks spanning centuries to today, each country expressed through its own visual language. Geography becomes culture. Territory becomes voice.

Maps have never been neutral. The real question is: whose reality are you centring and whose are you leaving out?

This map connects art and advocacy, past and present, place and perspective.
